Postpone It

Terms of Use

Effective 26 October 2026

These terms cover Postpone It, the app and this website. Using either means you agree to them. If you have a question, write to support@postponeit.app.

The service

Postpone It lets you save something now and decide about it later, on your own, and, with Pro or Pro Max, with your family or a group. Some features need an active subscription and a signed-in account; the rest works fully offline, on one device, for free.

Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for whoever has access to a signed-in device. Up to 10 devices can be signed in at once; signing in on another one signs out the device you've used the least recently.

Subscriptions

Standard, Pro and Pro Max are subscriptions sold, billed and managed entirely by Apple through the App Store, monthly or yearly, with a one-time Lifetime option for each. The yearly plans include a 7-day free trial; Apple allows one trial per person across our subscriptions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your Apple Account's subscription settings; refunds are handled by Apple.

If your subscription ends, your items stay on your devices; sync pauses, and we keep the encrypted copy on our server for 90 days (30 days after a trial that never converted) before erasing it.

Family and Groups

A Pro subscription covers a family of up to three; a Pro Max subscription covers up to five. The organizer's subscription gives every member the same plan as a seat, for as long as the family is active and they stay in it; a member never pays separately for that seat. On Pro Max, the organizer can also create one group of up to five people for sharing only. A group gives no seats. Joining one changes nothing about a member's own plan.

The organizer must approve everyone who asks to join, and can remove a member or close the family or group at any time.

Your content

What you save is yours. We never read it: it's encrypted on your device before it reaches our server. You're responsible for what you save and for having the right to save and share it, including with family members or a group.

Acceptable use

Don't use Postpone It to store or share unlawful content, or to try to access another account, family or group you don't belong to.

Changes and availability

We may change or improve the service over time. We'll try to give notice of any change that removes a feature you rely on. The service is provided as available, without guaranteeing uninterrupted access.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my account, which erases your events, media and keys on our server. If you organize a family or a group, deleting your account closes it for everyone in it.

Disclaimer and liability

Postpone It is provided as is, without warranties beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app or this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Purchases made through the App Store are also subject to Apple's own Terms of Use, including its standard End User License Agreement.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
